Ed-Amsterdam was formed in 2008 by photographers Dennis Duijnhouwer & Bram Spaan. What initialy began as a daily blog dedicated to showing their own photography representing their city (Amsterdam), has since grown into an autonomous photography platform for other photographers who share a certain passion, spirit and dedication when it comes to raw, unpolished analogue city photography.
The name Ed-Amsterdam is a reference to the Amsterdam-based street photographer Ed van der Elsken (1925-1990).
In line with our recent exhibition and launch of the Ed Amsterdam website we published a limited edition booklet featuring photographs from: Dennis Duijnhouwer, Bram Spaan, Robbie Baauw, Matthijs Diederiks and Ryan Cookson.
